TUTORS' PROFILES

Jessica Schymanski

My name is Jessica and I am a certified teacher of the handicapped. I have been with the company for almost one year. I graduated with my teaching degree in 1996 from The College of New Jersey. I have taught students from 3 years old to 21 years old. I was a classroom teacher for 7 years and have experience with students with special needs as well as regular education students. I primarily work with elementary through middle school age students. I hope your child finds the help they are looking for with Georgia Tutoring.

Renee DeLoach

I joined Georgia Tutoring in August of 2005 as a tutor of Elementary grade students. My previous experience with kids is with the YMCA where I worked as an After School Counselor. I have assisted students with homework in Reading, Math, Science, and language Arts. I managed students' after-school activities and provided feedback to parents about progress and behavior in school.

Margaret Sparks

I'm a PhD candidate at Georgia Tech in Telecommunications Policy. My areas of expertise are statistics, K-12 math, political science, others. I taught workshops to K-12 teachers on numerous science and technology subjects. In addition, I gave presentations to PTAs and K-12. The reasons I work for Georgia Tutoring are:
a) I enjoy working with students of all ages
b) I like flexible arrangements (evenings, weekends, and daytime schedules are possible for me)

Sherika Minor

I used to work as a substitute teacher in Chatham County Public Schools, Savannah, GA. My responsibilities included organizing, coordinating, and managing classroom activities. My favorite class to teach is History. In addition, I enjoy teaching Language Arts, French, and Basic Math. I believe that working with Georgia Tutoring provides me with interesting assignments where I can grow professionally and meet the challenges.

Yury Zak

I enjoy managing Georgia Tutoring as well as tutoring and teaching. For the past 14 years I tutored college students in colleges in New York City and Georgia. I teach and tutor Accounting, Finance, and all Math subjects for children of middle and high schools. What I like the most about my job is when my students express their desire to learn and come back to our programs after years of working or not using our services. Very often I hear from them something similar to this: "Yury, remember you helped me with Algebra 2 years ago. Now I am in college and need help with Accounting and Calculus. Are you available?" And I always say: "Yes"
